Jesse Lear

Jesse Lear is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for hospitality. He holds a degree in Marketing from Cedarville University and studied International Business at Dublin Business School in Dublin, Ireland. He founded V.I.P. Waste Services in 2011 with his best friend and roommate at the time. Together, they introduced the concept of valet trash and recycling services to apartment communities in the Central Ohio market. Over the next 7 years, the young entrepreneurs expanded their company to 4 other Midwest cities before successfully exiting via acquisition in 2018. Today, Jesse is focused on his most exciting venture yet: Epicurean Properties. Epicurean is a boutique corporate housing company that operates fully-furnished month-to-month rentals for discerning guests who need temporary housing in the Columbus area. Since 2019, Epicurean has received more than five hundred 5-star reviews and maintains an average guest rating of 4.97 stars. Jesse and his ventures have been featured in Fortune, Forbes, Fast Company, Time, and Entrepreneur, among other publications. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and trying new restaurants with his wife Chelsea.
