Everything we do at Epicurean revolves around one goal: delighting our guests. Founded in Columbus Ohio by a husband & wife team, we are a tight-knit group of perfectionists who genuinely care.
Our Story
Epicurean Furnished Apartments, a division of Epicurean Properties, was founded in late 2019 by a local husband/wife team.
Jesse, a seasoned local entrepreneur, was inspired by experiences at premium boutique hotels like Francis Ford Coppola’s Turtle Inn in Belize.
Chelsea, an experienced interior designer, loved the idea of combining 5-star hospitality with beautiful design.
At first, their goal was to create a collection of luxury vacation rentals. The couple launched 14 rentals in less than 90 days, and 5-star reviews started streaming in…just in time for the world to shut down in early 2020.
Suddenly faced with an empty reservations calendar, they were forced to innovate. One thing led to another, and soon they stumbled onto a discovery that would become their true passion: Boutique corporate housing.
Today, Epicurean Furnished Apartments is known as Columbus’s premium option for furnished month-to-month rentals, providing unparalleled comfort, flexible month-to-month terms, and world-class service.

As a local boutique provider with a small team, we are able to focus on serving only 40-50 guests at a time – and this makes all the difference.

What Makes Us Different
Every option we have here in Columbus is totally move-in-ready down to the smallest details. Our design team spends 3-4 weeks and $15,000-$20,000 curating each unit with quality furniture, decor, kitchenware, linens/towels, washer & dryer, cleaning supplies/equipment, and anything else you might need during your stay. We have our own highly trained in-house cleaning team and spend 10-12 hours deep cleaning after a guest moves out. Even after our 100+ item cleaning checklist has been completed, a local manager spends 1-2 hours double-checking every detail (including a blacklight bathroom inspection!) to make sure the place looks, feels, and smells brand new before every guest’s arrival.
We go above and beyond on our beds, and we can’t wait for you to experience them! Our mattresses are provided by Winkbeds; a US-based company that makes high quality mattresses largely by hand. After testing countless highly rated brands, the Luxury Firm mattress by Winkbeds was the obvious choice. But we didn’t stop at mattresses. We chose Frette (a favorite of many 5-star hotels around the world) to provide our goose down comforters and white 100% long-staple cotton linens. We’re confident that you won’t find a rental *anywhere* with beds more comfortable than ours.
As a boutique provider, we only operate in the best areas of Columbus OH like New Albany Ohio, Westerville Ohio / Polaris, and Dublin Ohio (to name a few). If you aren’t familiar with the local neighborhoods yet, this is a big perk. Many areas of Columbus (like Easton or The Ohio State University, for example) are wonderful to visit, but not always the most desirable to live near. When you book with us, there’s no need to filter out options that might be located in sketchy areas (because we don’t have any!). This means you can relax and choose your temporary home with confidence.
